Police respond to great goat escape in Arlington

ARLINGTON, Texas – You’ve goat to be kidding me!

Arlington police officers found themselves hoofing it through neighborhood streets Tuesday morning as they worked to corral a herd of escaped goats near the Crystal Canyon Natural Area.

Officers responded to the call around 7:30 a.m. when the herd was seen wandering in a neighborhood near Brown Boulevard and Winding Hollow Lane. A section of Brown Boulevard was closed temporarily while the team worked to return the goats to their enclosure.

Second annual Breast Cancer Awareness Health Fair paints the town pink

ARLINGTON, Texas — Arlington residents and healthcare organizations gathered at the Bob Duncan Center on Oct. 13 for the second annual Breast Cancer Awareness Health Fair.

The fair, hosted by City Council District 3 Rep. Nikkie Hunter, offered free mammograms, well-woman exams, flu shots and prostate screenings on-site.

Breast Cancer Awareness Health Fair offers free mammograms to Arlington residents

ARLINGTON, Texas — Arlington’s second annual Breast Cancer Awareness Health Fair is scheduled to take place Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Bob Duncan Center.
